My first week in gedong aka chalet. Kinda stressful, as in my course theres 4 sgts 4 scts 4 lcp and 4 pte, as scts we got no choice but to forced to perform as we have to lead out man the ptes after we pass out. The only reprive is the muah chee uncle who never fails to drive his van over every night selling us muah chee, hotdogs and haircut.

Friday when i was doing area cleaning in the morning, dunno why there is this sudden urge to listen to radio ( i usually didn't even play music ) and the first thing i heard is that michael jackson had passed on... A very suprising news on a friday morning.

I don't know how to put it, but this weekend just feels very much different from all my other weekends. Its so special, so relaxed, so interesting, so... Did many things i really liked to do and also did things which i rarely did.

Somehow or rather i met many people i longed to meet this week. First was my guardroom ooc buddies jun yi and desmond during some learning day exhibition at MI whom i was quite suprised to bumb into. Followed by sgt alexander at the booth where we had a long chat, he's ord-ing in 7 more months! Then it was dinner and arcade with my long lost colleage, huixian =) Cycling with gabriel chua my hotel ooc buddies occured at sat afternoon where we took out time to cycle to orchard and back stopping by far east for a drink and KAP for dinner. Halfway while cycling i met amos lim, my lower sec classmate, was quite suprised to know he retook his a lvls, but well at least he's in ocs now. Poped over to bpp to buy some groceries after cycling and was caught yawning with my mouth open wide by nurul who happen to be heading home after buying groceries. Thinking that might be enough for the day, i met suffian my upper sec classmate on the way home. Long time no see, he's grown fatter, rounder, chubbier and sadly just enlisted not long ago. Mr Wong my neighbour, well i just met him at the lift!

Also i watched 3 very touching chinese shows this week; 内衣少女 (nei yi shao nu), 绝种好男人 (jue zhong hao nan ren) and 星愿 (xin yuan). The show which left me the greatest impression is the show 星愿, a very touching and sad show.


Why are movies so touching, yet real life so boring?

Its been a week, a very fun yet screwed up one. This week well i only need to spend 3 days in camp and the last 2 days in chevrons and wild wild wet respectively due to some events. Of the 3 days, i spent 2 in the medical centre sickbay on IV drip.

Chevrons is where we had our cohesion day. Watched saving private ryan followed by buffet lunch then bowling. Pool after that was fun as its been a long while since i've met people somewhere my level to play a very challenging game of pool ( i'm quite okay like middle middle, so usually either kenna own or own ppl, finally some good challenge )

Wild wild wet! Lols thats where i got my tan back! Whee...

Spend my weekend on a getaway somewhere in spore... Haha... Chalet style =)



Whoo, finally its going to be the last week of the basic phrase =) Kenna wacked upside down inside out during stand by area as we have like 2 hours plus to clean up but they still go all the funny places to dig out dust! Esp the toilet! Argh.

Anyway booked out relatively early on friday, tot of going com fair but realise no time ends up meet up with weijiang, hariz, linton, jia qi and poh chiat for supper. Good luck JQ for he will be going in to BMT tmr morning! Damn sad...

Saturday was spent going to computer fair! Wah theres really alot of people, but suprisingly not as much as the march one, didn't really get squashed (except by the lift but thats another story ) and the shops are not as varied as that in march, can see all the shops cut cost and tighten budget. This time round mostly are the established companies selling their products as compared to those sim lim square shops the other time round.

This is the pic i took at 8 am this morning at suntec city! And there's already a long queue for the starhub promotion whereby they give free laptop! Its 8am and the doors won't open till 12pm! Anyway i wasted about 7 hours waiting and queuing and more queuing before i finally get to go home. What a waste of my precious book out time... Lucky book in timing is late today at 11pm.

Wah i spent quite alot this weekend, 150 bucks in total at the computer fair for an mp3 player and extra ram for my dieing laptop to give it another boost of life, like a human on respirator! I'm getting broke! 150 bucks is like there goes half of my GSS warchest. Dammit.

Gotta run now before going back to camp, got some stupid bet with my buddy that whoever don't exercise or run will have forfeit.

Okay these 2 weeks have been kinda buzy.

Drove my parents out on friday to buy selegie tau huay then to marina barrage to eat there as it was family day. Not fair lor, everybody else book out early at like 3 plus due to family day then we stay till damn late cause of this and that. Anyway marina barrage is not as windy as before, sianzzz, but still very nice place to relax and look at the sea.

Also the last weekend i organized an emergency class gathering, in which i was surprised by the turn out too. Well actually cause jess's back in spore and i was only told on friday night to plan for sat dinner. Well we queued like for 2.5hrs just to get into astons, though i must say its really damn cheap for chicken chop plus 2 side dishes for only $6+. I tot of postponing this post cause i would expect someone by the name of Oon Xiuting to upload the pictures but well, as you can see its been a week and nothing's done. Haha.

This week we had live firing and its damn cool to see and really blow up real explosives! Not like those movies see see nia, this one is REAL, can see with your own eyes and feel the shockwave, can also feel the falling rocks on your helmet! Haha. Konk Konk Konk falling on our helmets, damn fun la the feeling.

Saturday was damn shag, woke up damn early and travel all the way to CGH for physio before spending the rest of the day at queesntown area doing stuffs and night was spent receeing orchard road for stuffs to buy when my pay come in on wed! By then i'll have amassed a $450 war chest for GSS! Lols though i got nothing much to buy also, was aiming for a pair of loafers, a sling bag, a birthday present and prolly a few cheap tops and the rest its for computer fair! Haha. Crap i will just end up spending all that i saved the past few months, lucky now got more pay, if not i die liao. I NEED a UOB CARD for more discounts....

Sunday sian its book-in day today, and i only woke up in the afternoon so there goes half a day. I need to catch back up on time, and the worst part i have to book in by 7.30 cause tmr's live firing again! WHOOO, more explosions =) BOOM! Konk konk konk....
